about me

I’m Mirren, I have been a photographer for over 13 years and it’s a fantastic job. Not only do I work with lovely people every day, I also get to share in life’s most memorable moments. It’s very special to hand to you a collection of memories that cement the love and togetherness you’ll feel on the day you wed. That’s my job and I love it.

My style of photography is fresh and contemporary. I love to capture the little glances, the butterflies and the big smiles, as well as some more considered portraits that show off how fabulously you scrub up!

I use my love of portraiture, landscape and interiors to build a story around your big day, and you’ll want to look back again and again. Especially when you discover the little moments you missed, like the wee dram being offered, the tender nerves before you meet each other at the ceremony, or your gran dancing to Queen while you were at the bar! There is always a surprise, and I try to give you something special to complete the story.

All I ask from you is your trust in me, and to share your smiles with my big old lens.

In return I will become part of your crowd, blend in, and support you, by making the photographic moments fun and easy. I am a genuine wedding addict and I know I will be a positive addition to your day – something to which, I’m proud to say, my past brides would attest.

what else do I do?

My background is in portraiture, and I know how to make you and your guests look amazing! I have photographed countless newlyweds, bumps, babies, celebs, Prime Ministers, Dames and even puppies! I love using soft, natural light, and I use the latest Canon cameras and lenses for every shoot.

I am also an architectural and interiors photographer, so my experience with portraiture and environmental photography is a unique mix. I love using the landscape to add a hint of drama and romance to your photos. And I work with top food producers and product designers, so all your little details on the day will be covered.

Highland Photographer, London Photographer

I always meet with you beforehand to understand your style, and your expectations. Then we will put together a mood board so I can get it just right for you on the day - and you can relax and enjoy yourselves.

After the wedding I edit every individual photograph carefully to make sure that all your photos look great together, so you can create albums and prints. I work with carefully chosen suppliers who guarantee exceptional quality albums, prints and frames, so you can keep and share your photographs.

What Do you need to do?

So now I just need an email with all the fabulous details of your day. Date, time line, venue, guest numbers and ideas for your photos, and on the day, myself and my team, will take care of everything snappy!

Go on - surprise me with your amazing plans!

(I love to travel, so wherever your celebration is taking place, I would love to hear from you.)

Rosie + Co. was inspired by working with other wedding experts, from make-up artists to musicians, dressmakers to caterers and florists, and we all love what we do. If you need any inspiration, I can introduce you to the team. Recommendations are the best!

how it works

what to expect from your wedding shoot

Every wedding is unique - a new starring couple, supporting cast and a different stage each time. Nailing it takes knowledge and experience, passion for all things romantic - and good old team work.

I love finding out all about the big plans and little surprise for your day so just drop me an email to introduce yourselves.

Usually we’ll meet at your venue or in the pub to confirm your booking and chat about your ideas for the photos.

After confirming your booking I usually request a £350 deposit to secure your date, with the remaining fee payable up to two weeks before the wedding.

on the day

There will be so many memories you’ll never forget, and some things that you’ll both miss - I especially love surprising brides with photos of the groom getting ready! There will be natural moments that can’t be planned, and times you’ll want to strike a pose (you will, believe me).

After chatting with you I will know when to step in and direct you, and when to blend in with the crowd, and respect your privacy.

If your celebration has more than one venue, or more than 75 guests, we may consider a second photographer. Send me all the details so I can arrange the best package for you.

time to plan

To make sure that your photographic moments are as natural and fun as the rest of your day I will, whenever possible, visit your venue ahead of time so I can understand the light and the surroundings we’ll be in. I will share my thoughts and ideas with you, so you will know exactly what to expect on the day.

why I love what I do

To receive heart felt feedback from couples is the best buzz! Even better, is keeping in touch! Bumps, babies and an anniversaries are a fantastic way to continue your story and many of my clients come back to me year after year.

Photographs can inspire memories, bring loved ones closer, and reduce the distance between you when you can't be together. Photographs are an investment in your family and will always be there to bring you joy.
